🔴LEG EXTENSIONS🔴

⁣ When it comes to performing them, it is all bout them leverages. In "lines" terms, it means that the line that has to carry the weight, has to be greater in order for it to be favorable.

⁣ ❌As you can see, the first example is an "useless" one, because there will be zero leverage. The weight will simply roll up on the knee without causing tension on the quads, or atleast not enough.

⁣ ✅The second example is the RIGHT one: as you can see the quad segment is a longer line compared to the other one which means a FAVORABLE leverage.

⁣ ❌The third one is an unfavorable leverage: the quad segment is shorter than the other one. This will definitely end up causing knee pain.

⁣ I probably didn't even write a cool caption because I'm at the beach and I haven't even read it twice. Hope it made sense though lol.

⁣ 👉🏻Bottom line is: have your quad segment longer than the knee-to-pad one in order for it to be a favorable leverage for your knees, but not too much for it not to cause enough tension on the quads, as you can see in the picture. 😅
